Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mochi ("the Service"), operated by Argroup.us LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Mochi is a parental control application that allows parents or guardians to manage their children's access to apps on iOS devices. The Service includes:

• A parent mode for reviewing and approving/denying access requests
• A child mode that blocks apps and allows the child to request access
• Push notifications to communicate access decisions between devices
• Apple Family Controls integration for app blocking/unblocking

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to create a parent account. The child app is intended to be installed and configured by the parent or guardian on the child's device. The child must be part of the parent's Apple Family Sharing group.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Mochi uses token-based authentication — no password is required. You agree to:

• Keep your device secure, as the authentication token is stored on-device
• Provide accurate information (display name, child profiles)
• Not share your pairing codes with unauthorized individuals

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Plans

Mochi offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Available plans and pricing are displayed in the app at the time of purchase.

Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Mochi only for its intended purpose of parental supervision. You may not:

• Use the Service to monitor individuals who are not your children or legal dependents
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the Service
• Circumvent or disable the app's security features
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law
• Send abusive, threatening, or inappropriate content through the request messaging system

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings > Account > Delete my account). This action is immediate and irreversible. It will permanently delete:

• Your parent account
• All children profiles linked to your account
• All access request history and screenshots

Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription. You must cancel it separately in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with Mochi are owned by Argroup.us LLC. You may not use, copy, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Mochi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Specifically:

• Mochi relies on Apple's Family Controls framework, which may be affected by iOS updates or device configuration changes
• Push notifications depend on network connectivity and Apple's APNs service
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Parental supervision remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian — Mochi is a tool to assist, not replace, parental oversight

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Argroup.us LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

10. Health & Educational Information

Mochi may display informational content about screen time and child development during onboarding. This content is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical or professional advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for guidance specific to your child.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that is harmful to others or to the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts.
